While I have not yet read any of his books, I have always greatly admired and appriciated the man. Right now I am watching the “Free to Choose” video-excerpts on some website – it is amazing how Libertarian he was and how he influenced people like Arnold Schwarzengger with his consice message of liberty.

Governments should do little more than enforce contracts, promote competition, "provide a monetary framework" and protect the "irresponsible, whether madman or child".
