According to Brisk Magazine the three top ways to get into the boardroom are:
– Assistent to the CEO: right hand man with all the experience/knowledge
– External Adviser to the Management Team: filling the knowledge void
– Sales: the best (proven track record) sales people can sell themselves very good too
Since “sales” is not my strong point, I’m left with two options. They both have experience in common, so lets work on that first…
